## Typefaces

Cloche sets its headlines in Cloche Grotesque and its text in Cloche Sans. Both are Cloche’s modified versions of open fonts.

Cloche Grotesque is built on [Bricolage Grotesque](https://github.com/ateliertriay/bricolage) by Mathieu Triay of Atelier Triay, and Cloche Sans on [Instrument Sans](https://github.com/Instrument/instrument-sans) by Rodrigo Fuenzalida with Jordan Egstad. The letters of the Cloche logo are drawn from [Fraunces](https://github.com/undercasetype/Fraunces) by Phaedra Charles and Flavia Zimbardi of Undercase Type. Thank you to them for sharing their work openly.

The changes are Cloche’s own, and the original designers are not involved with Cloche. Cloche Grotesque and Cloche Sans are free to use, change and share under the [SIL Open Font License 1.1](https://openfontlicense.org/). Read the [Cloche Grotesque licence](https://cloche.dev/fonts/CLOCHE-GROTESQUE-OFL.txt) and the [Cloche Sans licence](https://cloche.dev/fonts/CLOCHE-SANS-OFL.txt).

## Using it

Use the files as they are. Never redraw, recolour, stretch or rotate the logo, or add effects to it. Give it room: clear space of at least half the cloche’s height on every side.

Clear space: half the cloche’s height, all round

Don’t use it: Stretched

Don’t use it: Recoloured

Don’t use it: Rotated
